International human rights law is a critical legal and political tool that
can help indigenous peoples mitigate and prevent violations of their human rights.
Using current human rights issues impacting Indian country as examples, this
presentation focuses on how international advocacy in the United Nations and
Organization of American States can be used to address human rights violations
against American Indians and Alaska Natives.
